Happy New Year! Time for MOPS!

The new year is here!  Time to get back into the routine of our MOPS meetings again!  Meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month (Sept-May), from 9:30am-11:30am. 

We are looking forward to our upcoming fun filled-meetings.

At our next meeting, Feb 7, the Orange table is hosting. 

Our MOPS January event is being planned by the Grapefruit table.  Please see Evite for details of event location, and time. 

Our MOPS Spa Day on Feb 21st is always such a fun and relaxing day for moms.  We welcome any donations.  If you know of anyone who can help out with facials, make-up, please send them our way!  If you are interested in participating in our yoga session, please be prepared by bringing a yoga mat or towel and comfy stretchy clothes.   Also, please bring a pair of clean socks to use for one of our stations. 

It's going to be a geat rest of our MOPS year!

December fun!

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our Dec. 6 MOPS meeting.  Our 'Toy Swap' was a success! 
Thank you to everyone who worked on Christmas Cards for the Veterans or the moms at Changing Lives Center.

Here are a few reminders for our upcoming Dec. 20th meeting.  

The Citron table is hosting:

• If you are participating in Adopt A Family please bring your gift wrapped with ornamnet attached. 
• Please bring a Christmas ornament to share with your table. 
• If you are interested in participating in the 'Cookie Exchange' please sign up on the Evite that was sent out.   If you didn't receive it, please contact Melissa M directly.
• If you are interesed in donating something to the Holmes family, please bring it to the Dec. 20th meeting.  Clothing, gift cards or monetary donations are appreciated.

Upcoming MOPS events

Please stay tuned in for our upcoming MOPS events!

Our next MOPS meeting is on Dec. 6.  The Tangerine table will be hosting.
At our next meeting we will be having a Toy Swap you can bring toys on Wednesday night between 8-9pm or morning of meeting, please arrive early.   Tables will be set up according to age. 

You will be given the opportunity to participate in Adopt a Family.  Participation is voluntary.

We will be making holiday cards: if you are a scrabooker please bring your supplies!  We will provide card stock.

On Thursday, December 13 from 10am-12pm, the Lime table will be hosting a 'Craft day with kids' and 'book swap', no childcare will be provided on this day. 

Also, we will be sending out an Evite for our upcoming Cookie Exchange.  The Cookie Exchange will be held on Dec. 20th.  Also please bring a special ornament to share with your table.  If you love to sing, here's your chance to show your talent!  If you are interested in singing/leading Christmas Carols please speak to Joyce Archer or Cindi Richardson. 

MOPS meeting 'Men's Panel' Oct. 18

We hope you are enjoying the cooler evenings!  Many of you went out of town for Fall break, we hope you had a nice week away! 

 Thanks to all the moms who joined us for our AZ Humane Society Tour and for all of the donations!  The kiddos had fun seeing all of the cute animals. 

 

We hope you can join us for this Thursday's MOPS meeting.  We will be having a 'Men's Panel' which will consist of a group of husbands and fathers. 

 

Please help support our Laveen MOPS Photo Fundrasier by registering for a photo session on Friday, Nov. 2 & Saturday, 3rd from 9am-6pm.  There are still slots available , please sign up on Thursday see Melissa!  Each photo session is $15 which includes 1 downloadable high resolution downloadable image.  Here's your chance to get your family pictures taken for the holidays!

First day of MOPS and Kickoff/Fundraiser

We hope you have enjoyed your summer!   It's that time of the year!  MOPS!  Start setting aside your 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month!  We have missed seeing all of you!  We can't wait to see you on September 6 our first day of MOPS!
