Updates

Many thanks to Pastor Jerry for his inspirational talk on parenting. It is so easy to forget just how important our roles as parents are in the busy lives we lead today! Pastor Jerry's parenting class using, "Shepherding a Child's Heart," by Tedd Tripp will begin on Sunday, March 15th at 4:30PM at Laveen Baptist Church.
Thank you also to the members of the Steering Team for improving the check-in process! What did you think, ladies? How cute are all of our clothes pins?
Remember that our next meeting on March 19th is our annual SPA DAY! Everyone knows that this is one of the meetings you definitely do not want to miss! Hope you all can make it - it is going to be a great morning!
We would also like to ask all of you to consider being on the Steering Team next year. We would like to have everyone in their positions by April 24th so the old, returning and new steering team members can attend the Leadership Summit together on Saturday, April 25th! Please contact us at laveenmops@yahoo.com asap! We would love to have you!
Thanks Ladies and have a great week!

Love Dare #2

Love is Kind
~Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.~
-Ephesians 4:32-
Kindness can be broken down into four basic core ingredients: Gentleness, Helpfulness, Willingness and Initiative. You will never learn to love until you learn to demonstrate kindness.
In addition to saying nothing negative to your spouse again today, do at least one unexpected gesture as an act of kindness.

The Love Dare #1

Love is Patient
~Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.~
-Ephesians 4:2-
Although love is communicated in a number of ways, our words often reflect the condition of our heart. For the next day, resolve to demonstrate patience and to say nothing negative to your spouse at all. If the temptation arises, choose not to say anything. It's better to hold your tongue than to say something you'll regret.
