We did a fun ice breaker and painted coffee mugs that we can use during our MOPS meetings. Thanks Nicole for the fun craft project. It was a big hit.
Our book group will be starting on October 7th. We will be going through our theme book that comes in the mail once you pay your MOPS International membership. If you are interested in participating in the book group please contact Casey at sunshineconsulting@cox.net.

First Meeting 9/3
Thank you ladies for the wonderful first meeting of our 2009-2010 MOPS year. Thanks to Jill and Nicole for the fun games and the Steering Team for the yummy food.
A couple of announcements:
If you are interested in selling or purchasing $10 tickets for the Antiquities photo shoot please email us at laveenmops@yahoo.com. If you sell 15 tickets , you will receive a free photo package worth $149. Here is the link to the Antiquities web page for examples.

If you are interested in helping out the Steering Team please email the person that holds the position. The Steering Team members contact information is located in the handbook and newsletter. We are always looking for people to help out with various tasks.
Construction on the Laveen Baptist Church classrooms will be starting shortly. Please be aware of that when you check in your children for MOPPETS. Thanks for your patience and understanding as the church works to improve their facilities.
Garnet table is hosting the next MOPS meeting on September 17th. Please be sure to arrive by 9:15. If you have any questions please email Kim, your Table Leader, at kimtooth@hotmail.com.
